Fuel line hoses
Fuel hoses find application in fuelling cars, trucks, bus, boats and more. A Fuel Hose should be resistant to fuel, permeation, heat, abrasion, ozone, aging and kinking. A Fuel Line is a hose connected to all the components of a fuel system to ensure safe and easy transfer of fuel from storage tank to a vehicle. In order to avoid vapor lock that is usually caused by too much heat, the fuel line is placed as far away as possible from the exhaust manifold, the exhaust pipes and the mufflers. This ensures high fuel efficiency, great performance and less maintenance costs incurred for the vehicle. To ensure lesser effect of vibration the fuel line is attached to the frame of the vehicle. Moreover, the Fuel line should be kept away from the sharp-edged components to avoid wear and tear.
The Fuel hose is specially manufactured with a fluorosilicate liner which allows the hose to resist short term contact with oil and petrol fluids, and permanent contact from their vapors, thus making them ideal for oil or fuel filler neck assemblies. High quality fuel lines ensure fuel efficiency and thus reduce fuel costs. The Fuel line hose is available in different colors and length allowing flexibility in choice as per the need. The specifications for an ideal Fuel hose are as follows:
- Inside Diameter: 4.8 mm to 9.5 mm
- Outside Diameter: 10.3 mm to 15.9 mm
- Working pressure(Max): 50PSI to 75PSI
- Working temperature(Min): -35°C to -32°C
- Working temperature(Max): 120°C
