Air Hose
First patented in the 1950’s and also known as a planter, an airseeder is an agricultural equipment that is used in the planting of seed crops over a large field. An integral component of the entire assembly is the airseeder hose where the seeds enter and travel its length until it terminates in the seedbed.
An airseeder hose can also be used for other applications as it is not solely confined to the agricultural sector. Other common applications include air and water conveyance, cable conduit, dust extraction, exhaust removal, gravity feed, irrigation, slurry and sludge transfer, vacuum cleaning, ventilation and a host of other applications wherein a flexible and light weight hose can be quite handy.
Airseeder hoses are generally constructed from high-grade and UV-stabilised ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Their diameter varies depending on the intended application. They are also crafted with specifications indicating the minimum and maximum working pressure and temperature.
When choosing an airseeder hose, you certainly want one that has been specifically designed and built to be durable, versatile and highly functional. Go for a dealer that offers a wide range of products so you can pick the one that best suits your needs and specifications. As much as possible, pick an airsseder hose that has been UV stabilized and manufactured to be resistant to the wear and tear caused by seeds and fertiliser.
An air seeder hose can be used for a number of applications including seed drills. All products in our air seeder hose range have been specifically selected for their durability, versatility and functionality. Where possible our air seeder hoses have been UV stabilized and made in Australia for Australian conditions.
